MIRROR DANCE is the story of Cuban twin sisters, Margarita and Ramona de Saá. Once inseparable, the former ballerinas have been estranged for 40 years, yet continue to share a passion for dance. The documentary reveals how the twins embrace ballet, family and life in two contrasting cultural and political environments: Cuba and the United States. Set within the context of the hostile relationship between the two countries, MIRROR DANCE focuses on the twins' story of division, difference and efforts at reconciliation.
